### Exclusive: Daniela Ruah Directs Episodes in the NCIS Universe After NCIS: LA Wrap

Daniela Ruah, known for her role as Kensi Blye in the recently concluded NCIS: Los Angeles, is set to leave her mark behind the camera. Having already directed during NCIS: LA’s 12th season, Ruah is now taking on directorial duties for two upcoming episodes across the NCIS universe.

First up, she directs an episode of NCIS airing in March, followed by an episode of NCIS: Hawai’i slated for April. Reflecting on her return to the NCIS set, Ruah expressed her excitement, describing it as an honor to work with familiar faces and be embraced by the cast and crew once again.

“Kensi was born as a character on NCIS, 15 years ago, so now to be able to step onto that set again, as a director, with that incredible cast and crew, is an absolute honor,” Ruah shared in an exclusive interview with Deadline.

NCIS: Los Angeles concluded its impressive 14-season run in May 2023, with Kensi’s character discovering she was expecting a baby with Deeks (played by Eric Christian Olsen). The finale also featured Callen (Chris O’Donnell) marrying Anna (Bar Paly) in a spontaneous city hall ceremony.

Ranked as one of CBS’s longest-running primetime scripted series, NCIS: LA’s legacy is in good company among iconic shows like Gunsmoke, Lassie, CSI, and Criminal Minds. With recent revivals of CSI and Criminal Minds, the future looks promising for potential returns to the NCIS: Los Angeles universe.
