Michael Weatherly Teases Possible NCIS Return!
Michael Weatherly, known for his role as Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo on NCIS, has sparked excitement among fans by hinting at a potential return to the series. On January 1st, Weatherly took to Twitter to share a New Year’s message, saying, “What is gonna happen in 2023? Well, no matter what you did in ’22, ’23 stands before us, an open door, so let’s all explore, shall we?”
A fan quickly responded, expressing hope for Weatherly and Cote De Pablo’s (Ziva David) return to NCIS. Weatherly’s response? “Stay tuned. This might be an interesting year for such ‘moments’!”
Weatherly left NCIS in 2016 after 13 seasons to star in the CBS series Bull, which concluded after six seasons in May 2022. Cote De Pablo, who played Ziva from 2005 to 2013, made a comeback for a special storyline during the 2019-2020 season.
