NCIS: Hawai’i star Vanessa Lachey is embracing her next chapter with a positive outlook after the cancellation of her show. The actress announced on Instagram that she and her family are moving from Hawaii, where they lived for three years during the show’s filming.
Vanessa shared a series of vibrant photos on Instagram featuring her family in leis against the stunning Hawaiian backdrop. She looked radiant in a green patterned dress and heels, while Nick sported a tropical shirt and brown shorts. One photo captured Vanessa and Nick sharing a kiss, and another showed them walking hand in hand into the sunset.
“‘A Hui Hou’ ❤️ Home is where the heart is… Hawai’i, you will always have my heart!” Vanessa, 43, wrote in her caption. “Mahalo Nui Loa for 3 beautiful, magical years you gave me and my family! Now, on to the next adventure. Off into the sunset we go! #LacheyPartyOf5 #AlohaSpirit.”
Fans expressed their disappointment over the show’s cancellation in the comments, with messages of support and love. One fan wrote, “If the world was fair, you would have had at least 10 more years in Hawai’i. You will forever be our Jane Tennant- and we will never stop fighting for more❤️ For now, enjoy life with your beautiful family ❤️.” Another said, “This makes my heart hurt, I can’t wait to see what you do next.”
Although Vanessa didn’t specify their new location, reports indicate that Vanessa and Nick have purchased a new home in Los Angeles. The property, built in 2023, reportedly features a pool, game room, basketball court, and movie theater.
