The upcoming “NCIS: Tony and Ziva” series will introduce four new characters, including their young daughter, Tali. Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have emphasized that Tali is the third main character, central to the family-focused plot. Weatherly highlighted that parenthood will significantly impact Ziva’s character, influencing every decision they make.
At the Monte-Carlo TV Festival’s “NCIS” panel, Weatherly noted, “Every decision Tony and Ziva have to make in their adventure, their child is first and foremost in their minds.” He explained that Tali adds new drama and danger to the show’s mix of action and family conflict. Other team members may join Tony, Ziva, and Tali on their mission to save the planet.
Other NCIS characters might appear on Tony and Ziva’s show as well. At the Monte Carlo TV Festival, Wilmer Valderrama and Brian Dietzen expressed enthusiasm about appearing on “NCIS: Tony and Ziva.” Dietzen observed, “If they said, ‘Hey, we need Jimmy Palmer on a plasma screen,’ I’d say hell yes, that’d be fantastic, and I’d do it in an instant.” Valderrama was more expansive, stating, “I’d like to maybe have my character be undercover somewhere in Europe… embedded in Italy, France, or London.”
As of now, it is unclear whose characters from the “NCIS” franchise will feature on the new show, but viewers will find out when it premieres.
