In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Wilmer Valderrama, who portrays Nick Torres, addressed his character’s status. Valderrama, a series regular since 2016, assured fans that Torres will still play a key role in season 22, which begins airing Monday, October 17 at 8 PM ET on CBS. However, the actor hinted at upcoming challenges for his character, promising both humor and high-stakes drama in the new episodes.
When asked about his involvement, Valderrama responded:
“I think they always worry. The fans are so passionate about NCIS. I would say this: In season 22, the contribution these writers have made to the show is invaluable. We’re focusing more on personal journeys for our characters. This season will be more humorous, emotionally driven, and, perhaps — just perhaps — the characters will face significant danger.”
