NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen discussed a potential return for season 22 of NCIS. Following 14 seasons and over 300 episodes, the LA spinoff ended largely due to the high production costs. Since then, some key cast members have returned to the NCIS universe in different roles. Olsen, known for his portrayal of Marty Deeks, spoke with TVLine about the possibility of reprising his role. Now an executive producer on the new Matlock series, Olsen joked about imagining himself in the Kathy Bates reboot. However, when it came to stepping back into Deeks’ shoes, he was more hesitant. While he admitted missing working with LL Cool J and staying in touch with his sister-in-law and former co-star Daniela Ruah, Olsen ultimately revealed that he wasn’t eager to play Deeks again. His comment:
“I really miss Todd, and I was just texting Renee [Felice Smith] this morning. Plus, I see [my sister-in-law] Daniela [Ruah] all the time…”
