CBS has just announced the renewal of NCIS for its 22nd season and The Neighborhood for its seventh, adding to the lineup of already renewed hits like Tracker, Fire Country, Ghosts, FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted.
In a statement, CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach praised both shows for their authentic storytelling and family dynamics, calling them the epitome of CBS comedy and drama.
This exciting news comes just in time for the NCIS franchise to celebrate its 1,000th episode milestone with the upcoming April 15 episode. NCIS has been a consistent top performer for CBS, ranking as television’s top broadcast drama for the past five consecutive complete seasons and remaining in the top 20 series for 18 of its 20 full seasons.
As for The Neighborhood, it continues to shine as television’s #3 comedy.
