**NCIS Star Michael Weatherly Teases Cinematic Spin-Off with Cote de Pablo**

Exciting news for NCIS fans! Michael Weatherly has shared details about his upcoming spin-off series with Cote de Pablo, promising it will feel more like a movie. Weatherly and de Pablo are set to reprise their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David in a 10-episode show set in Europe, scheduled to start filming later this year.

Speaking with a fan on a TikTok/YouTube Short, Weatherly expressed his enthusiasm for the new format. “You know, I really am looking forward to doing a version of NCIS where it really ups the stakes in terms of a long – it’s 10 episodes of one long story,” he said. “Right, so it’s like a 10-hour movie. Limited series is what they call it, I guess, but it really allows you to explore the character arc with each episode being a reset.”

Weatherly highlighted the advantages of this serialized approach, explaining that it will bring more depth to the characters and their relationships. “So week to week we’re going to be able to tell this sort of serialized story that I think is going to bring a lot more depth to the characterisation and to the relationships and we’re going to be able to do not as much recaps and exposition,” he added.

The spin-off, officially titled **NCIS: Tony & Ziva**, has an intriguing premise. According to the synopsis, Tony, Ziva, and their daughter Tali are forced to go on the run across Europe after Tony’s security firm is attacked. As they evade their mysterious pursuers, they must uncover the identity of their attackers and learn to rebuild trust within their family to achieve a happy ending.

This new series promises to deliver an engaging, movie-like experience, allowing fans to delve deeper into the beloved characters of Tony and Ziva. The spin-off will air on CBS in the US, while fans in the UK can catch up on NCIS Seasons 1-20 streaming on Disney+.

Mark your calendars for what promises to be an unforgettable addition to the NCIS franchise!
