Abby Sciuto’s return to NCIS might be more likely after a new update about Pauley Perrette. As part of the original ensemble, Perrette’s character served as the Major Case Response Team’s forensic scientist for 15 years, working primarily under Mark Harmon’s Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Known for her bubbly personality behind her edgy appearance and obsession with Caf-POW, Abby excelled at her job. Her departure was tough for everyone on the team. Unlike many former NCIS cast members, however, the prospect of her return has always been more complicated.
Narratively, Abby left NCIS after a traumatic experience that endangered her life and resulted in the death of MI6 Agent Clayton Reeves.
