Jessica Knight stole the spotlight, but another unexpected plot twist might be in store.
NCIS won’t return for its 22nd season until this fall on CBS, leaving fans speculating about what lies ahead. The latest season ended with two major cliffhangers involving Jessica Knight’s job offer and Alden Parker’s vision, hinting at deeper explorations into his past.
While every character faces their own challenges, it’s Jessica Knight’s uncertain fate that has fans buzzing with theories about her potential departure. Yet, another key character might also be on the verge of leaving the MCRT, with one actor’s hint slipping under the radar.
At a recent CBS event, NCIS stars Katrina Law (Jessica Knight), Gary Cole (Alden Parker), and Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer) discussed the season 21 finale and teased major changes for their characters. Dietzen emphasized that the focus shouldn’t only be on Jessica and Jimmy, as the futures of many characters are at risk.
Gary Cole expressed surprise, stating he had no knowledge of any impending departure for Alden Parker, suggesting nothing dire was ahead for his character. Dietzen clarified that his comments weren’t directly linked to Alden Parker’s fate but warned, “No character is safe; that’s what NCIS stands for.”
He added that the upcoming changes might not necessarily involve danger but could reflect shifting dynamics within the team.
Considering the last season ended on a positive note for Alden Parker, his exit seems unlikely. Having only been on the show for three seasons, it’s improbable that Parker’s fans need to worry just yet.
