**NCIS: Hawai’i Ends After Three Seasons on CBS**

“NCIS: Hawai’i” is coming to a close after its three-season run on CBS. The network revealed the show’s fate on Friday, April 26, just days before its final episode is set to air on May 6.

The cancellation news comes amidst CBS renewing other NCIS series and introducing a new one to the franchise. Earlier this month, CBS renewed the original “NCIS” series for its 22nd season and “NCIS: Sydney” for a second season. Additionally, the network is planning to launch “NCIS: Origins” for the 2024-2025 season. This prequel series will focus on a younger Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the iconic character made famous by Mark Harmon, with Austin Stowell portraying the younger Gibbs.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news about the cancellation, noting that “NCIS: Hawai’i” is now the shortest-running NCIS show to be canceled. Despite its popularity, it is one of the most notable shows CBS has decided to cut this season.
