The recent announcement of Freaky Friday 2 has me thrilled to see many beloved characters return, especially after Mark Harmon’s exit from NCIS. The original Freaky Friday featured rebellious teenager Anna (Lindsay Lohan) and her worried mother Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) who, after a curse, swap bodies and must learn to love each other selflessly to switch back. Released over two decades ago, the long-awaited sequel is finally happening, and it’s worth the wait.
Filming for Freaky Friday 2 has begun, and the cast and release date have been revealed. Many main cast members and their love interests are returning, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Chad Michael Murray, and Mark Harmon. Since the first movie, many actors have become known for different roles, making their return to their original characters even more exciting – especially Mark Harmon.
