Instead, Harmon is reprising his role as Ryan Coleman from the beloved 2003 family comedy Freaky Friday. Disney has officially announced a sequel to the hit film, much to the excitement of fans.
The sequel, featuring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, will bring back the Coleman family for more body-swapping antics. Disney shared a sneak peek of the set on June 24, with the sequel set to hit theaters in 2025. Harmon, along with original cast members Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, and others, will return, joined by new stars Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Sophia Hammons.
The announcement has sparked excitement among fans, with many expressing their joy on social media. Harmon himself credits Jamie Lee Curtis for the sequel’s creation, saying, “If she’s talking about it, then it will happen.”
Since leaving NCIS in 2021, Harmon has kept busy as an executive producer and author. His latest book, Ghosts of Honolulu, delves into historical events related to the origins of the real NCIS, showing his continued passion for storytelling and history.
