**Mark Harmon Delays NCIS Return for Freaky Friday Sequel**

Mark Harmon, known for his role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS, won’t be back on the screen as Gibbs anytime soon. Instead, he’s gearing up to reprise his role in Freaky Friday 2 alongside Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The sequel to the 2003 hit is officially in production, with Harmon returning as Ryan Coleman, Tess’ husband. Details on the plot remain under wraps, but rumors suggest a new twist involving a serious body swap dilemma for Anna and her teenage daughter.

Freaky Friday, based on Mary Rodgers’s novel, was a box office success, grossing $160 million worldwide. The sequel, set to release in 2025, will reunite Harmon with Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, and others from the original cast.

Fans can anticipate Harmon’s return to theaters in Freaky Friday 2, while his NCIS future remains on hold.
