**NCIS Star Wilmer Valderrama’s Exciting New Role Revealed!**
NCIS fans are in for a treat tonight as Special Agent Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) takes on a new challenge. While viewers eagerly anticipate the latest episode of the CBS drama, Valderrama has been making headlines off-screen with a major new project.
On February 22, the 42-year-old actor shared an Instagram Reel where he meticulously applies a black Zorro decal to a gym mirror. Set to J Balvin and Rosalía’s song “Brillo,” the video reveals Valderrama’s excitement about his upcoming role as Don Diego de la Vega, also known as Zorro, in a new Disney TV series. The NCIS star, who has been with the show since 2016, is already gearing up for his new character.
“Thanks to @seaweanie, I have new inspiration in the gym.. as I begin my next chapter training,” he captioned his post. Fans flooded the comments with excitement and support. “Wow!!! I can’t wait to watch you as Zorro ❤️❤️,” one person wrote. “I am so hype for this!!!! ,” added another. Valderrama reassured a concerned fan, saying, “As a fan from childhood, I promise it’s in the best hands. I wouldn’t trust anyone but me to play him.”
According to Deadline, Valderrama will also serve as an executive producer on the series, following in the footsteps of iconic actors like Antonio Banderas and Sir Anthony Hopkins. Valderrama expressed his excitement in a statement: “Growing up, Zorro was the one character that made me, as a Latino, feel like I could be a hero. To partner with Gary and Disney to bring Zorro back into the family after 60 years, and be a part of the legacy for other children to know they too can be the heroes of their own stories, is a dream come true.”
As for his future on NCIS, there’s no official word yet on whether Valderrama plans to leave the show. Currently, Zorro is in pre-production, so it’s possible he could balance both roles for the time being. NCIS fans can continue to enjoy his performance as Torres while looking forward to his exciting new role as Zorro.
