“NCIS: Hawai’i Cast Says Farewell with Beach Gathering Amidst Show’s Cancellation”
It was a bittersweet gathering for the cast of NCIS: Hawai’i as they came together on a local beach to celebrate the show’s three-year run. Vanessa Lachey, Tori Anderson, Jason Antoon, and his wife Seana Kofoed were among those who shared moments from the meetup on their Instagram stories, joined by loved ones including Lachey’s husband Nick Lachey, Anderson’s husband Mitch Myers, and Noah Mills.
The gathering, dubbed “Aloha ʻAuinalā and Aloha Ahiahi,” came just two weeks after CBS announced the cancellation of NCIS: Hawai’i, following the filming of its final episode a month prior.
Expressing their gratitude, Vanessa Lachey wrote, “We ❤️ U Hawai’i…. We really REALLY LOVE You!” She also paid tribute to original cast members Alex Tarrant and Yasmine Al-Bustami, who were not present at the gathering.
Despite the show’s cancellation, fans have launched a #SaveNCISHawaii campaign, even securing a Times Square billboard in support. The cast has acknowledged the campaign, showing appreciation for the dedicated fan base that has rallied behind the series.
