The latest update from CBS reveals that NCIS: Hawai’i has postponed its next new episode, originally scheduled for April 8, to make way for a special celebration of the NCIS franchise hitting 1,000 episodes. Instead, viewers can catch two repeat episodes of NCIS along with a one-hour special titled NCISverse: The First 1,000, featuring new interviews and behind-the-scenes insights.

NCIS: Hawai’i’s current season, already shortened due to Hollywood strikes, will resume with new episodes on Monday, April 15. The upcoming episode, titled “The Next Thousand,” marks a significant milestone as the first episode following the franchise’s 1,000th installment. Concurrently, the 1,000th episode of NCIS will air earlier that same night, promising an eventful evening for fans.

The synopsis for NCIS: Hawai’i Season 3, Episode 7 teases a gripping storyline involving the murder of a Marine during training on the Big Island, leading the NCIS team on a hunt for the suspect deep into the woods, where they uncover a disturbing secret.
