In an interview with TV Insider, Tarrant also shared insights into his character’s development, teasing an intense physical altercation in the finale. While one returning character, Agent John Swift, played by Henry Ian Cusick, has been confirmed, the identity of the second remains a mystery.

The exact release date for the two-part season finale is yet to be announced, but viewers can expect it to air sometime in May. Meanwhile, a celebratory NCIS video promo commemorating 1,000 episodes features stars Mark Harmon, Chris O’Donnell, and Scott Bakula, representing the franchise’s legacy.
