The agents of *NCIS: Los Angeles* are about to tackle their final case. CBS announced on Friday that the long-running spin-off will conclude after its 14th season, with the series finale set to air on Sunday, May 14, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
“For 14 seasons, *NCIS: Los Angeles* has been a cornerstone of our lineup, featuring characters who have been a joy to watch,” said CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach in a statement. “From the start, the cast, producers, and crew have been incredible partners, and their teamwork and talent shone through on screen. We’re immensely grateful for their collaboration and plan to give them and their fans the sendoff they deserve.”
Showrunner R. Scott Gemmill also expressed his gratitude, thanking the network, studios, and the dedicated crew for their hard work and the cast for bringing the characters to life. “To our loyal viewers who followed these characters’ journeys, thank you. We look forward to delivering a satisfying end to the series that honors these beloved characters,” he said.
Premiering on September 22, 2009, *NCIS: Los Angeles* will have aired 322 episodes by the time it wraps. The series, starring Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Medalion Rahimi, Caleb Castille, and Gerald McRaney, follows a team of NCIS agents who go deep undercover to apprehend dangerous criminals threatening national security.
