NCIS star Michael Weatherly has seemingly confirmed the start of filming for the highly anticipated Tony & Ziva spinoff. This long-running procedural drama, one of CBS Studios’ most popular franchises, will reunite Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo for the first time in over a decade in a Paramount+ Original titled NCIS: Tony & Ziva. The show will catch up with Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, exploring their complex relationship. Weatherly and de Pablo will also serve as executive producers for the project.
Recently, Weatherly hinted at progress on NCIS: Tony & Ziva through an Instagram post with the caption: “The beginning of a new era has begun within the #ncisverse #tony&ziva.” While not an official filming confirmation, it is known that the spinoff plans to shoot in Europe over the summer.
Currently, NCIS: Tony & Ziva is in the process of casting supporting roles.
