Weatherly has shared updates about Tali, stating that parenthood will significantly impact Ziva. “Every choice that Tony and Ziva make in their adventure, their child is first and foremost in their minds,” Weatherly explained at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival’s “NCIS” panel, quoted by Deadline. “When you have a child, you have to navigate what is best for them. And then maybe you have a co-parent that you have a tumultuous relationship with… and oh, wait, we also have to save the world.” He added that Tali will introduce new drama and danger, enriching the show’s blend of action and family tension.
