CBS Reveals Fall Lineup Amid Show Endings
CBS has unveiled its upcoming fall lineup amidst mixed emotions over the conclusion of some beloved shows.
Vanessa, a passionate TV enthusiast herself, empathized with disappointed fans over the shows’ endings. “We toss and turn, have sleepless nights, and endless discussions,” she shared. “But we analyze all the numbers and projections for future opportunities for even greater success on our schedule. And that’s how we make these tough decisions.”
Following the heartfelt final episode in May, Vanessa paid tribute to the show on Instagram, expressing deep personal significance. “This show meant so much to me… and more every day I find, to lots of people,” she penned, reflecting on her journey as an AAPI Woman, Wife, Mother, Colleague, and Friend. “This journey has taught me to continue pushing the envelope and breaking glass ceilings.”
Co-showrunner Steven D. Binder reflected on the show’s intricate character arcs, noting twists and surprises that kept audiences engaged. “We’ve seen characters appear to leave, only to return unexpectedly, while others vanished without a trace, like Gibbs,” he explained. “We believe viewers will find satisfaction in where this journey takes them.”
