Special Agent Jessica Knight faces an unexpected challenge in the upcoming episode of NCIS, as seen in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek.
In “Knight and Day,” airing Monday at 9/8c on CBS, Knight (played by Katrina Law) is tasked with protecting the wife of a high-level defense contractor after their home is attacked. The socialite, portrayed by guest star Brianna Brown (Outer Banks, Dynasty, and NCIS: New Orleans), proves to be more than a handful.
Showrunner Steven D. Binder teased the episode as a “Miss Congeniality-style, odd couple” dynamic. “Knight is assigned as protective detail to a very demanding socialite,” Binder explained. As the story unfolds, the socialite surprises Knight by picking up some rough-and-tumble hostage negotiation skills, while Knight gains a fresh perspective on her seemingly shallow charge.
In the exclusive sneak peek, Brown’s character doesn’t hold back, suggesting Knight might be using her career to avoid a deeper connection—or even neglecting “proper skincare.” Knight, however, is laser-focused on keeping her safe. That resolve is tested when Mrs. Martin unexpectedly ditches their hiding spot to change into tennis whites!
