NCIS star Michael Weatherly is seeking fans’ input on a potential spin-off.
On Twitter/X, Weatherly, who played Tony DiNozzo, posted a photo with former co-star Cote de Pablo, who portrayed Ziva David. In the post, Weatherly teased a possible new show and asked fans for their suggestions on what to name it.
“Getting ready to announce the Title of our new show… NCIS: Something … I’d love to hear what you think it might be,” Weatherly wrote, inviting fans to help find the perfect title.
One fan suggested, “NCIS: WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR 8 YEARS!” to which Weatherly replied, “Too long.” It seems Weatherly’s favorite suggestion so far is “NCIS: Beyond,” which his daughters also preferred.
In other NCIS news, the spin-off NCIS: Hawai’i has been canceled after three seasons, leaving fans and star Vanessa Lachey shocked. On her Instagram Story, Lachey expressed her disappointment, saying she felt “blindsided” and “gutted” by the news.
NCIS airs on CBS in the US, with Seasons 1-20 available for streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
