“NCIS Sydney Renewed for Season 2 – Todd Lasance and Olivia Swann Return!

Exciting news for NCIS Sydney fans as the hit Paramount+ series gears up for its highly anticipated second season later this year. Filming is already in progress, with Channel 10 preparing to air the first season on May 15.

Former Home and Away heartthrob Todd Lasance is set to reprise his role, joining season one co-star Olivia Swann. Produced by Paramount+ and Channel 10, the show follows detectives from the Australian Federal Police teaming up with U.S. NCIS investigators to combat crime in the navy amidst tensions in the Pacific region.

Season 2 promises a new adversary, adding fresh challenges for the team. Lasance, expressing his excitement on Instagram, thanked fans for their support and looks forward to reuniting with the squad on set. Swann hinted at the return of other season one cast members, sparking anticipation among viewers.

NCIS Sydney marks the franchise’s first international venture, following the success of spin-offs like NCIS Los Angeles and NCIS Hawaii. Swann portrays the head of U.S. NCIS in Sydney, while Lasance serves as her second-in-command. U.K. actor Sean Sagar also returns as a U.S. NCIS investigator.

Season one featured stars like Tuuli Narkle and Mavournee Hazel as AFP investigators, along with veteran Australian actor William McInnes as a forensic pathologist. The series has garnered massive popularity, with its premiere becoming Paramount+’s most-watched series launch in Australia and attracting millions of viewers in the U.S.

As NCIS Sydney continues its success, fans eagerly await the thrilling adventures awaiting them in the upcoming season.”
