Despite past controversy surrounding their alleged feud, NCIS star Mark Harmon seems to harbor no ill will toward former co-star Pauley Perrette. Pauley, who left NCIS in 2017 after 15 seasons, sparked speculation about tension between the two, which resurfaced when her 2019 tweets accusing Mark of inappropriate behavior recently reemerged.
In a recent interview on The Rich Eisen Show, however, Mark extended what seemed like an olive branch, praising Pauley and other NCIS colleagues, including the late David McCallum. “David McCallum… Pauley… they were all so good, so specifically good for the characters they were playing,” he remarked.
Mark’s comments ignited discussion on Reddit, where fans debated their rocky history. “Her acting skills weren’t the issue,” one user noted. “Abby was an unforgettable character.” Another added, “Mark’s compliments show he’s a gentleman despite their supposed feud.”
Pauley, a fan favorite as Abby Sciuto, has firmly stated she will never return to NCIS. In a series of 2019 tweets, she alleged “multiple physical assaults” on set, adding, “I have nightmares about it. I am terrified of Harmon.” Pauley urged fans to stop asking about a comeback, saying she’s now in a “safe and happy” place with a new show.
While the details of their conflict remain unresolved, Mark’s recent remarks highlight a professional respect for his former co-star, despite the lingering controversy.
