Two original NCIS cast members reunite following their absence from the procedural’s 1000th overall episode. After over two decades on the small screen, NCIS celebrated its landmark 1000th episode, “A Thousand Yards,” which revisited a case with ties to its pilot, “Yankee White.” Unfortunately, none of NCIS’ inaugural ensemble members were involved in cracking the new mystery. However, the CBS show found a way to pay homage to its overall legacy.
