Exciting News: NCIS Universe Expands with Two New Shows!
CBS may have axed NCIS: Hawai’i, but the franchise is gearing up for an even bigger run in the upcoming season. Alongside renewals for NCIS Season 22 and Sydney Season 2, two fresh additions are set to join the lineup.
First up is a Paramount+ spinoff featuring Tony and Ziva, played by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo respectively. While they’ve made guest appearances in later seasons, their new series promises to delve deeper into their dynamic.
Next, CBS introduces NCIS: Origins, a prequel chronicling the early days of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, portrayed by Mark Harmon for 19 seasons. Austin Stowell steps into the lead role, with Harmon narrating the journey.
Though Hawai’i bids adieu, the franchise’s vast universe offers hope for its cast members to resurface in other installments. While Sydney’s location and Origins’ timeline pose some limitations, the franchise’s tradition of crossovers ensures endless possibilities.
Catch NCIS: Hawai’i on CBS Mondays at 10/9C.
