A thrilling new spinoff featuring former “NCIS” agents Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, fondly known as #Tiva, is officially in the works. Scripted by John McNamara and set to stream on Paramount+, the series will delve into Tony and Ziva’s journey through parenthood as they navigate Europe following an attack on Tony’s security company. Both Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo will reprise their roles and take on executive producer duties.
Production is scheduled to kick off later this year, with a potential premiere slated for late 2024 or 2025. Notably, “NCIS” Season 21 won’t lay the groundwork for the Tony/Ziva spinoff, as their storyline has already been established in previous seasons.
Additionally, the much-discussed “Young Gibbs” prequel spinoff, titled “NCIS: Origins,” is confirmed to follow a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the early ’90s and is set to air on CBS.
