Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David’s highly anticipated NCIS reunion could face delays due to a recent casting update for the upcoming spinoff, NCIS: Tony & Ziva. Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are set to return for this new series, which will see the iconic duo leading their own adventure across Europe alongside their now-grown daughter, Tali.
Unlike its predecessor, this spinoff will stream on Paramount+, adding a fresh twist to the NCIS franchise. While plot details are still under wraps, production appears to be underway, with Weatherly hinting at the start of filming. This aligns with earlier reports that production would commence in July.
Previously, both actors made appearances on the flagship series, with DiNozzo returning in season 21 for Ducky Mallard’s tribute. They also host the podcast Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch.
