Tony & Ziva Return: NCIS Spinoff Title Revealed!
Paramount+ has unveiled the highly anticipated NCIS spinoff featuring Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo as Tony and Ziva. Previously untitled, the series is now officially named “NCIS: Tony & Ziva,” as announced in a video shared on social media.
In the video, Weatherly and de Pablo discuss the series, confirming it will delve into Tony and Ziva’s adventures in Europe while raising their daughter, Tali. The storyline kicks off with Tony’s security company facing a dangerous threat, prompting the family to embark on a thrilling journey across the continent.
“We’ve been talking about this story for years, and now with John McNamara leading the way, we’re ready,” shared Weatherly and de Pablo in a joint statement. “The world of Tony and Ziva promises action-packed drama fueled by love, danger, tears, and laughter.”
The series, ordered straight to series with 10 episodes, marks the first on-screen reunion of Weatherly and de Pablo in a decade, since their departures from NCIS. The actors expressed gratitude to fans worldwide who have championed the beloved “TIVA” duo over the years.
As production gears up in Budapest for a summer 2024 shoot, Weatherly teased the spinoff’s premise during a special celebrating the franchise’s 1,000th episode. “Tony and Ziva navigating parenthood and global crises—what could go wrong?” he humorously remarked.
With the flexibility of a streaming platform, the spinoff promises to explore new dimensions of the characters’ lives and relationships in the backdrop of European intrigue.
