Though NCIS: Hawai’i was canceled in 2024, its dedicated fanbase is refusing to let go, campaigning for Vanessa Lachey to return as Special Agent Jane Tennant. After the show topped a fan survey by The U.S. Mirror about favorite NCIS spinoffs, Lachey expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the continued support on Instagram.

The survey results were clear:

  • NCIS: Hawai’i – 63%
  • NCIS: Los Angeles – 28%
  • NCIS: New Orleans – 8%

This overwhelming victory for NCIS: Hawai’i has fans hopeful for a return, even though the show’s cancellation was not due to low ratings but rather a crowded CBS lineup. Lachey, who was blindsided by the cancellation, shared her gratitude on social media, writing, “BEST fans in the WORLD!!! I ❤️ U!”

Fans are still pushing for a revival, hoping CBS will reconsider the cancellation. While the 2024 and 2025 schedules seem tight, there’s still a glimmer of hope for the future. Meanwhile, Lachey will return to the screen with The Ultimatum on Netflix, starting December 4, 2024.
