After the emotional conversation between Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) and Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) in NCIS Season 22’s Sticks & Stones episode, fans are eager to know what comes next for the duo. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and both Dietzen and Law have teased more to come, giving viewers plenty to look forward to.
Law revealed that fans will see Jimmy and Knight together in more scenes, where their lingering feelings for each other are apparent. “There are moments where Knight’s interest is sparked, and you can feel the chemistry and love between them,” she said. “There’s an underlying desire to get back together, so you’ll definitely see that evolve.”
Additionally, Season 22 will introduce Knight’s sister, a character who will stir up some drama, according to Law. Dietzen teased that the new character will create “shock waves” that will impact the team.
As for Palmer, Dietzen shared that viewers won’t see him dating anytime soon. Instead, Palmer will focus on reconnecting with his NCIS family. “You’ll see Palmer trying to spend time with the team—Kasie (Diona Reasonover), Torres (Wilmer Valderrama)—and putting himself back into work,” he explained. “After losing his wife, it’s the team that saved him, so he’s throwing himself back into what gave him purpose.”
