“Special NCIS Event Takes Over CBS Primetime Lineup: Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Look and Guest Appearances Await Fans!”
Get ready, NCIS fans! While there won’t be a new episode of NCIS season 21 airing on Monday, April 8, CBS has a special treat in store for you. Instead of the usual episode, CBS will air NCISverse: The First 1,000, an exclusive Entertainment Tonight special leading up to the franchise’s monumental 1,000th episode, scheduled to air on Monday, April 15.

As the flagship NCIS show celebrates its 464th episode, combined with its spinoffs NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawai’i, and NCIS: Sydney, the franchise is about to hit a historic milestone with its 1,000th episode. NCISverse: The First 1,000 promises a behind-the-scenes look at episode 1,000, featuring exclusive interviews with series stars, cherished memories, and never-before-seen moments that fans won’t want to miss.

On April 15, the 1,000th episode titled “A Thousand Yards” will see NCIS facing an attack from a mysterious enemy with ties to the past. Meanwhile, Vance attempts to reconcile with his estranged son, shedding light on his commitment to NCIS. Special guest appearances by NCIS: Los Angeles alum Daniela Ruah and current NCIS: Hawai’i star Vanessa Lachey will add an extra layer of excitement to the milestone episode.

The special NCIS event doesn’t just impact the Monday night lineup; it’s an all-NCIS affair on CBS. With reruns of NCIS season 21 airing at 8 pm ET/PT and 10 pm ET/PT, fans can indulge in a night filled with their favorite crime drama. But don’t worry, new episodes of The Neighborhood season 6, Bob Hearts Abishola season 5, and NCIS: Hawai’i season 3 will return on April 15, with NCIS: Hawai’i kicking off the journey to another 1,000 episodes with the aptly titled episode, “The Next Thousand.”

The NCIS celebrations don’t stop there! Star Wilmer Valderrama will make appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, CBS Mornings, and The Drew Barrymore Show. Plus, Diona Reasonover will be featured on After Midnight, and a slew of NCIS cast members will make appearances on The Talk and The Price Is Right, with NCIS taking over Pluto TV’s More TV Drama channel.

With all these exciting events lined up, NCIS fans are in for an unforgettable celebration of television history. And during the 1,000th episode, keep your eyes peeled for special Easter eggs hidden throughout the episode.
