In 2013, Cote De Pablo left “NCIS” early in Season 11 after portraying Ziva David for eight seasons. By the end of Season 13, Ziva was presumed dead in an explosion in Israel. However, the Season 16 finale revealed that Ziva was alive, and she made several appearances in Season 17. Now, de Pablo is set to reunite with co-star Michael Weatherly for an “NCIS” spinoff focusing on Ziva and Tony DiNozzo, exclusively for Paramount+ subscribers.
In a recent Instagram Live video with Brian Dietzen, who plays Chief Medical Examiner Jimmy Palmer, Weatherly hinted at a “surprise Cote de Pablo thing” coming up. While he couldn’t share details, he mentioned that Dietzen is involved and that the surprise will “blow people’s brains,” especially since de Pablo is known for her privacy, unlike Weatherly, who is more outspoken and open to being on “the show.”
