Wilmer Valderrama teases an action-packed and emotionally intense season 22 of NCIS!
The actor, who has played special agent Nick Torres for the past eight seasons, promises fans, “There will be perhaps some new flames.” He hints at potential new romances, including for his own character, and warns of more personal and soul-shattering drama.
Valderrama, 44, feels “indebted” to loyal fans and aims to deliver the turmoil they’ve come to expect. “It’s not going to be your casual ‘Oh, your favorite team is in trouble.’ It’s going to be more personal, more soul-shattering,” he says.
He also reveals that he has advocated for more comedic moments for Nick, especially with Gary Cole’s character, Supervisory Special Agent Aiden Parker. “He also is going to have some really heavy lifting this season too,” Valderrama notes.
NCIS, now streaming on Paramount+, returns to CBS this fall for its 22nd season.
