CBS has officially renewed its hit series NCIS and The Neighborhood for the 2024-2025 broadcast season. Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, praised both shows, saying, “The Neighborhood and NCIS represent the heart of CBS comedy and drama, delivering authentic storytelling filled with humor and family dynamics. We’re excited to bring them back for another season.”
NCIS, now in its 21st season, continues to dominate as a top TV drama, ranking as the #2 entertainment program this season, just behind Tracker. With 35 days of multiplatform viewing, the show averages 12.9 million viewers, a 12% increase from last year. Its renewal secures the series through its 22nd season. NCIS airs Mondays from 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT.
Meanwhile, The Neighborhood has also been a strong performer, currently ranking as the #3 comedy on television. The show averages 5.83 million viewers and 7.9 million with multiplatform viewing, up 10% from last year. This renewal brings the sitcom into its seventh season. The Neighborhood airs Mondays from 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT.
Both NCIS and The Neighborhood air on the CBS Television Network and are available to stream on Paramount+.
