Set in the early ’90s, precisely in 1991, the show offers a glimpse into the formative years of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, portrayed by Mark Harmon in the original series. Austin Stowell takes on the role of the younger Gibbs, navigating his early days as a special agent at NIS Camp Pendleton, under the leadership of NCIS legend Mike Franks, played by Kyle Schmid. Alongside Stowell, the series features Mariel Molina, Tyler Abercrombie, and Diany Rodriguez, adding depth to the ensemble cast.
