NCIS: Sydney Renewed for Season 2 After Major Success
CBS has officially renewed NCIS: Sydney for a second season following the strong performance of its debut run.

However, with the original NCIS back in its prime Monday night position, NCIS: Sydney is moving to Fridays at 8/7c starting January 31, 2025. This shift also pushes S.W.A.T. to a later 10/9c timeslotEntertainment President Amy Reisenbach expressed excitement about the renewal, highlighting the franchise’s growing international appeal. “Our American viewers have fully embraced these engaging characters, unique stories, and stunning Australian scenery,” Reisenbach said.
Season 2 will continue to showcase the collaboration between U.S. NCIS agents and the Australian Federal Police as they tackle naval crimes in a politically sensitive region. With no announced cast changes, fans can expect the return of Olivia Swann, Todd Lasance, Sean Sagar, Tuuli Narkle, Mavournee Hazel, and William McInnes.
