**NCIS: Hawai’i Teases LL Cool J’s Big Return in New Poster**
NCIS: Hawai’i has hinted at LL Cool J’s return to the show with a new poster. Following his cameo in the season 2 finale, it has been confirmed that LL Cool J will join season 3 as a regular guest star.
The poster features LL Cool J’s character, Sam Hanna, alongside Vanessa Lachey, Alex Tarrant, Jason Antoon, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Noah Mills, and Tori Anderson. Filming for the new season began in December, and the premiere is set for Monday, February 12, 2024. Due to last year’s strikes in Hollywood, this season will be shorter than usual, with 10 to 13 episodes instead of the typical 22.
LL Cool J has previously portrayed Sam Hanna in various NCIS iterations, including the recently concluded NCIS: Los Angeles and the NCIS/Hawaii Five-0 crossover. His addition to the NCIS: Hawai’i cast has thrilled executive producers Matt Bosack, Jan Nash, and Christopher Silber. “All of us at NCIS: Hawai’i have been huge fans of LL Cool J for years and couldn’t be more thrilled or honored to be adding his spectacular talent to our ohana for season three,” they stated.
Vanessa Lachey expressed similar excitement: “One of the most beautiful things about working on NCIS: Hawai’i is the show’s ability to bring the franchise together. We have had so much fun spreading the aloha to NCIS and NCIS: LA with the triple crossover. Now, we have the amazing opportunity to bring Sam Hanna to Hawai’i to help the island solve some cases and maybe have a few laughs in the process. Welcome to the ohana, Todd! It’s going to be a fun ride!”
NCIS: Hawai’i airs on CBS in the US, and NCIS seasons 1-20 are available for streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
