NCIS Star Michael Weatherly Teases Movie-Like Spin-off with Cote de Pablo
Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are set to reprise their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David in a new 10-episode NCIS spin-off set in Europe. Weatherly hinted that the serialized format will make it feel more like a cinematic experience.
In a TikTok/YouTube Short with a fan, Weatherly expressed his excitement: “I’m really looking forward to this version of NCIS where it’s 10 episodes of one long story. It’s like a 10-hour movie.”
The spin-off, officially titled NCIS: Tony & Ziva, follows the couple and their daughter Tali as they navigate being on the run across Europe after Tony’s security firm is attacked. As they uncover the identity of their assailant, they must also rebuild their trust to find a happy ending as a family.
NCIS airs on CBS in the US, while Seasons 1-20 are available for streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
