Wilmer Valderrama’s Dramatic Plan for Nick Torres’ Possible Death on NCIS
Wilmer Valderrama has a bold vision for how his character, Special Agent Nick Torres, should exit NCIS if his time on the show comes to an end. Speaking at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, Valderrama shared his idea for a dramatic and heroic death, inspired by Denzel Washington’s intense final moments in Training Day.
“I’d like to go out like Denzel’s character, but as a good guy,” Valderrama said. “I envision a storm of bullets, dying heroically with violins playing in the background and rain pouring down.” He rejected the idea of adding “white doves” to the scene, finding it too reminiscent of a Nicolas Cage film.
Meanwhile, costar Brien Dietzen, who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer, has his own somber thoughts on a potential character death. Dietzen suggested that Palmer could die from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), drawing from his own experience with the disease. “It would be tragic and beautiful, showing the progression of the disease over time,” Dietzen said.
Season 22 of NCIS premieres this fall on CBS, airing Mondays at 9/8c.
