Get ready to spell NCIS O-M-G after watching the action-packed Season 22 trailer that TVLine exclusively unveiled on Monday. With a mole on the loose among the agents, the pressure is on to track them down before chaos erupts. As Gary Cole’s Parker bluntly puts it, “We’ve gotta stop that mole without starting a war.”

The intense teaser also shows Wilmer Valderrama’s Torres facing a tough moral dilemma. “If you want me to kill one of my own,” he says, “I need a good reason.”

But that’s not all — the trailer is loaded with fan-favorite Easter eggs. The song “Stand Up,” playing in the background, cleverly incorporates the melody of the NCIS theme song. And for true fans, there’s a nod to the late David “Ducky” McCallum’s 1968 jazz track “The Edge,” which was famously sampled in Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s hit, “The Next Episode.”

The song “Stand Up” was created by America’s Got Talent alums Black Gryph0n (Gabriel and Nathanael Brown), who, as Navy veterans themselves, drew inspiration from the NCIS team’s family bond. The lyrics even contain subtle references to Katrina Law’s Jessica Knight. With lines like “no time to react” and “the night’s returning,” the song alludes to her departure to Camp Pendleton as Chief REACT Training Officer — and her eventual return to NCIS DC.

NCIS Season 22 premieres Monday, Oct. 14 at 8/7c, and it’s shaping up to be a thrilling ride!
