Tony and Ziva’s European adventures won’t be as thrilling without support from their NCIS friends.
The NCIS franchise is gearing up for a major comeback with season 22 and two new spinoffs, including “NCIS: Tony & Ziva,” which will focus on Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David’s life and work in Europe after leaving NCIS. This spinoff will delve into their relationship and family drama while potentially featuring other beloved characters from the original show to add more dynamics.
Fans are hopeful for Jimmy Palmer’s appearance in “NCIS: Tony & Ziva.” Introduced in season 1, Jimmy and Tony’s friendship has grown over the years. With Jimmy also being close to Ziva, it wouldn’t be surprising if he visits them in Europe, given that Tony and Ziva are no longer part of the MCRT and haven’t seen their colleagues in years.
Additionally, Jimmy might show up as a forensic science professional, aiding Tony and Ziva in their crime-solving endeavors, offering a perfect blend of work and fun during their European escapades.
“NCIS: Tony & Ziva” is still in development without an official release date, but there’s plenty of time to incorporate Jimmy Palmer into the storyline. Brian Dietzen, who plays Jimmy, has expressed interest in reprising his role and is excited about exploring the new format of the spinoff, which won’t follow a case-of-the-week formula.
“NCIS: Tony & Ziva” is set to release on Paramount+ this fall or later this year.
