Mark Harmon Extends Olive Branch Amid Pauley Perrette Feud Rumors

Despite years of speculation about a feud between NCIS stars Mark Harmon and Pauley Perrette, Harmon recently showed no signs of ill will. Perrette, who left the show in 2017 after 15 seasons as Abby Sciuto, has been vocal in the past about alleged tensions with Harmon. However, in a recent interview, Harmon spoke warmly of his former co-star.

During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Harmon praised the talent of his NCIS colleagues, including the late David McCallum (Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard) and Perrette. “The players that were playing other roles, David McCallum… they were all so good,” Harmon said. “Pauley… they were all so specifically good for the characters they were playing.”

His comments sparked debates online, particularly on Reddit, where fans discussed the history between the two stars. One user noted, “It’s well known she had issues with him and left the show. That doesn’t mean Mark wouldn’t appreciate her acting skills. His compliments show he’s always been a gentleman.” Another added, “Her acting wasn’t the problem. Abby was iconic.”

Pauley Perrette’s Departure and Allegations

Despite being a fan favorite, Perrette has made it clear she has no plans to return to NCIS. In 2019, she posted a series of now-deleted tweets claiming her exit was due to alleged “multiple physical assaults” on set, which she attributed to Harmon.

“I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me,” Perrette wrote. “I have nightmares about it. I left. Multiple Physical Assaults. I REALLY get it now. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety.”

She also emphasized the importance of safety in workplaces, adding, “If it’s school or work that you’re required to go to, it’s horrifying.”

Perrette has since moved on to other projects, expressing her happiness with a new show she described as her “#HappyPlace.”

Moving Forward

While Perrette has been vocal about her experience, Harmon has remained silent on the alleged incidents, focusing instead on his admiration for the work done by the NCIS cast. His recent comments suggest an effort to honor the contributions of his co-stars, even amid lingering controversy.

Though the full truth behind their strained relationship may remain unclear, fans continue to celebrate both Harmon’s leadership as Gibbs and Perrette’s unforgettable portrayal of Abby Sciuto.
