CBS Stars Rally Behind NCIS: Hawai’i as Series Ends
NCIS: Hawai’i fans are heartbroken as CBS cancels the show after just three seasons. Despite fan campaigns to save it, the network remains firm in its decision. As the cast bids farewell, support pours in from across the CBS family, making the goodbye even more emotional.
Vanessa Lachey, who played Jane Tennant, shared a touching message to co-star Jason Antoon: “I love you. And I will be down there in 15 mins with manapua and cougar juice!” Lachey and the cast even reunited for a final photo in front of a Hawaiian sunset.
Tori Anderson, who played FBI agent Kate Whistler, also expressed her sadness: “Well, this is just sad. Meet ya there, dude!”
Among the supporters is CBS star Carrie Preston from the hit show Elsbeth, which was recently renewed for a second season. Preston’s short but sweet message in the comments showed her solidarity: just a single emoji, yet it spoke volumes. Perhaps some NCIS: Hawai’i cast members will make guest appearances on Elsbeth?
CBS’s packed schedule left little room for shows like NCIS: Hawai’i, CSI: Vegas, and So Help Me Todd. Although it’s a tough pill to swallow, fans can still watch NCIS: Hawai’i on Paramount+ and continue to support the show in hopes of a revival.
