Mark Harmon, widely recognized for his role as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs on CBS’s long-running series NCIS, experienced a life-changing phone call that had nothing to do with his career. Unlike his character, who went through four marriages onscreen, Harmon has remained committed to one partner in real life. He married fellow actor Pam Dawber in 1987, and the two have maintained a strong relationship ever since.
