“NCIS: Tony & Ziva” Will Stream on Paramount+ Featuring European Backdrop

The much-anticipated spinoff “NCIS: Tony & Ziva” will take fans on an adventure across Europe and stream exclusively on Paramount+. The series will star Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, reprising their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, alongside their grown-up daughter, Tali. The new team includes a Russian hacker and a French Interpol liaison, replacing the familiar faces from their old NCIS crew.

While this new ensemble means a reunion with the original NCIS team is unlikely, fans are excited to see their favorite couple back in action. Production for the series has reportedly begun, aligning with previous announcements that filming would start on location in July. Weatherly’s recent updates suggest that everything is on track.

Despite hopes for a reunion with their former Major Case Response Team (MCRT) colleagues, the new casting updates indicate it may take longer than expected. However, both actors have recently returned to the flagship series, with Tony appearing in “NCIS” season 21 for a tribute to Ducky Mallard. Additionally, Weatherly and de Pablo are hosting “Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch” podcast, keeping the fanbase engaged.

Before leading the inaugural MCRT team in “NCIS,” Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ squad looked different during his “JAG” debut, highlighting the evolution of the beloved franchise.
