The “NCIS: Hawaii” actress shared a sweet family photo on Instagram, showing her and husband Nick Lachey dressed as prisoners, while their children—Phoenix Robert, 5, Brooklyn Elisabeth, 7, and Camden John, 9—dressed as little NCIS agents.
Vanessa captioned the post with a playful joke, “Orange you glad we escaped!” She also shared how touched she was by Brooklyn’s costume choice, saying, “When Brooklyn said she wanted to ‘be like Mama,’ my heart melted! I’ve always dreamed of this moment.”
She added a light-hearted warning to stay safe and enjoy the candy haul, noting that “the cuffs aren’t comfortable!”
The Lachey family often shares heartwarming moments from their life in Oahu, where Vanessa, 41, films the show. Recently, they posted a photo of a sunset family dinner by the beach, with Nick and the boys in matching Hawaiian shirts and Vanessa and her daughter in dresses.
Nick, 48, and Vanessa discussed their family life on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” revealing their kids were unimpressed by Nick’s past fame with 98 Degrees until he appeared on “The Masked Singer.” Nick humorously noted that it took dressing up as a pig and singing on TV for his kids to find him cool.
