The Lachey family is bidding farewell to Hawaii.
On August 13, Vanessa Lachey revealed on Instagram that she, her husband Nick Lachey, and their three children are relocating to the mainland following CBS’s cancellation of her show NCIS: Hawai’i.
“’A Hui Hou’ ❤️ Home is where the heart is… Hawai’i, you will always have my heart!” Vanessa, 43, shared, posting photos of her family in leis.
Vanessa and Nick, 50, who have been married since 2011, are moving on after CBS announced in April that NCIS: Hawai’i would not return for a fourth season. Vanessa, who made history as the franchise’s first female lead as Special Agent Jane Tennant, expressed her gratitude and excitement for their next chapter.
“Mahalo Nui Loa for 3 beautiful, magical years you gave me and my family!” Vanessa wrote. “Now, on to the next adventure. Off into the sunset we go! #LacheyPartyOf5 #AlohaSpirit”
CBS has been making significant changes to its lineup this year, with NCIS: Hawai’i being one of several shows cut.
